Q: When does registration for the Spring 2024 Baseball and Softball season start?
A: Registration is scheduled to open in October and proceeds until the end of tryouts (January 2024). After tryouts, new registrations may be allowed based on openings for that division. Registering early gives the league time to recruit and train managers, order uniforms and equipment, and prepare schedules.
Q: What ages can play Little League?
A: Little League accepts all children between ages 4 and 16 as of August 31 of the current year for baseball and as of December 31 of the previous year for softball. Children are placed in age-appropriate and skill-appropriate divisions. Click here to see the Little League Age Finder.
Q: What do I need to register?
A: Little League requires a registration form and medical waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian, an original birth certificate, and 3 proofs of residency within the local league boundaries Check the boundary map to ensure you will be able to play for FCLL.

Q: How much does registration cost?
A: Fremont Centerville Little League sets a fee schedule each year based on the needs of the league. Registration costs for baseball and softball are listed below, and are reduced for early registration.
- Tee-Ball Division: $140.00 ($100.00 if you register by 11/30/2023)
- All Other Baseball/Softball Divisions: $195.00($125.00 if you register by 11/30/2023)
- Sibling Discount: $10.00 discount for each additional sibling after 11/30/23 (No Discount for Tee Ball)
- Challenger Division: $50.00

Q: Now that I'm registered, what next?
A: Practice! Often a player hasn't picked up a mitt in 6 months when tryouts come around. Make sure your child has a mitt and cleats for tryouts or the first practice. Then go out and practice throwing and hitting to prepare for tryouts. Tryouts in January will be for children 6 and above who want to play in the Minors, Majors, Juniors, or Seniors divisions. T-Ball players will be contacted by a manager when practices start (typically early February).
